AXA XL has appointed Sylvie Gleises (pictured) as head of client management for Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Gleises takes on the role in addition to her responsibilities as global head of revenue synergies, according to a statement from AXA XL. In this new role, she will develop the insurer’s client strategy and oversee its implementation across the two global regions. Gleises joined AXA in 2006 and has since held a number of strategic positions, including chief of staff to the group’s former chairman and CEO Henri de Castries, as well as CEO for continental Europe and global head of distribution & marketing at AXA Art.
