Brokerslink has expanded its footprint the Pacific, with the addition of Kanda International, based in Papua New Guinea, to its global network.

Kanda, headquartered in Port Moresby, is a leading risk advice and general insurance provider for local and international clients, according to a statement from Brokerslink.

The international broking group also added affiliates in the Africa and Central America regions. Eswatini-based Ensure Insurance Brokers specializes in engineering and financial guarantee, as well as a broad range of commercial, industrial, and personal lines. Meanwhile, Uniserse Correduria de Seguros is a family-run brokerage that has operated in Costa Rica for over 50 years. The company provides local, regional and international programme administration across the Americas, as well as personal and commercial lines services.

The new affiliates, Brokerslink said, were chosen because they represent leading, high-quality broking expertise in their respective countries.

“Against the backdrop of a hardening market and increasing levels of M&A activity, the role of the independent broker has never been more important,” said Carla Alves, marketing and operations director for Brokerslink. “Clients rely on these experts to understand the peculiarities of local markets and help them to find the best way to manage and mitigate their risks.

“Brokerslink prides itself on securing the best independent broking talent and our network continues to expand in number and capability, evidence of the vital role that local expertise and knowledge play in delivering multinational business.”
