After much negotiation, due diligence, and processing, Singapore-headquartered Doo Financial has acquired an insurance broker entity licensed by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority, to be named Doo Wealth Management HK.

With the acquisition the Doo Group has officially entered the insurance industry. In a press release it called the acquisition a “great stride” in seizing the global financial market and moving into a more diverse future.

Doo Wealth will provide a broad offering spanning two major areas – life insurance and general insurance – including financial planning and wealth planning products. It is licensed to conduct general and long-term business in the Hong Kong region.
