Euler Hermes launches Trade Match tool

Trade credit insurer Euler Hermes has launched Trade Match, a web application that it says can help companies identify export business opportunities in 70 economies and over 17 sectors.

Trade Match will allow commercial opportunities to be assessed against the level of risk of the corresponding country and region according to the proprietary rating of Euler Hermes, the company said in a statement.

Prior to this, Euler Hermes launched Mind Your Receivables, an application developed with Toucan Toco that follows the evolution of corporate bankruptcies around the world. This harnesses Euler Hermes’ economic research towards accelerating its strategy of providing data and content so that more companies are informed about customer risk, especially when exporting.

“With our partner Toucan Toco, we wanted to make Trade Match a control tower of world trade for our customers, and also for journalists, students and all trade players of foreign trade,” said Ludovic Subran, chief economist of the Allianz Group, parent firm of Euler Hermes. “The trade war is not inevitable. You just have to know where you set foot when you export.”
