Gallagher, which has been named as the official title sponsor of the UK’s Premiership Rugby, is making further strides in its marketing push – creating a new role for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Alison Bain, who has worked at the likes of American Express, brings over 25 years of brand, agency, and communications experience not only in the UK but also globally and will serve as Gallagher’s EMEA head of marketing and communications. Based in London, she is in charge of driving marketing-led revenue generation across EMEA.

Headquartered in Illinois, the broking powerhouse has operations in 33 countries – offering client service capabilities in more than 150 nations via its network of correspondent brokers and consultants.

“Alison and her team will accelerate the momentum we have in transforming marketing and communications to drive growth and sustainable value for Gallagher,” said global chief marketing officer Christopher Mead. “Part of our strategy includes attracting key leadership talent to our marketing organisation who will ensure we develop and reward our existing talented team members who consistently innovate and lead us to even greater wins.”

Gallagher, which recently acquired UK-based regional commercial insurance broker Risk Services Ltd, has an aggressive organic growth plan and is redefining its marketing focus to differentiate itself from the competition.
