Travel and experiences platform Klook has announced a partnership with Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. (Zurich Singapore) to formulate a new, unique travel insurance plan. In a press release, Klook described the new insurance to include an “all-encompassing” coverage.

Labelled TravelJoy, the new travel insurance is “designed to go beyond conventional travel insurance boundaries to ensure peace of mind for customers.” Coverage is expected to include not only medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost luggage but also telehealth services. Travelers would be able to consult a medical professional no matter where they may be in the world.

TravelJoy can be purchased using the Klook platform. The launch of the insurance marks a new milestone for both organizations. The collaboration follows Zurich Singapore’s fresh entry into digital retail partnerships, with the launch of its new service called Zurich Edge. The new service aims to provide a more personalized plan for customers. Customers can easily access their tailored insurance online.
