Remember the iconic underwriting room at Lloyd’s of London? Now picture it differently, with the future (and what it might require) in mind.

That is what the insurance marketplace is asking stakeholders across the globe to do, with an online collaboration hub set up to crowdsource insights and ideas to “re-imagine” the Lloyd’s underwriting room. An initial crowdsourcing, which runs until February 28, is part of a market-wide consultation spanning initiatives such as virtual focus groups.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to the future design of the underwriting room, and supporting spaces and services in the Lloyd’s building in London,” said Lloyd’s in an update.

“We want to understand your future preferences for ways of working, how we can maintain the Lloyd’s community spirit, and how we can attract new business and improve the user experience.”

The collaboration hub can be accessed via lloydscollaboration.com. Meanwhile, a list of focus group events is also available on the Lloyd’s website.

“This is the time to be bold – and dream big,” Lloyd’s went on to state.

“We want as many perspectives as possible to build an exciting and innovative experience that futureproofs the market, supports growth, attracts new talent, and continues to bring together brilliant minds to share risk and develop new solutions.”
