Lockton Singapore has announced the appointment of Lena Tsia as its new chief operating officer.

In her new role, Tsia will lead Lockton’s operations team and monitor the administration, compliance, claims, marketing, and IT departments. She will also work with all of the teams based in Singapore in order to establish and implement the best possible practices across all of the firm’s operations.

“She will enhance organizational efficiency, align technology initiatives with our business objectives, and foster greater synergy and effectiveness,” the firm said in the statement announcing Tsia’s appointment.

Prior to her new role with Lockton, Tsia was with Fullerton Health Singapore for five years where she had served as its group operations director (MBMS) before becoming its COO. Before that, she also held roles in firms such as AIA, Cigna, and Prudential Assurance Company Singapore.

She received her degree in actuarial science and statistics at the University of Calgary in Canada.

“Lena’s impressive journey in the Employee Benefits realm with AIA, Prudential and Cigna has been multifaceted and notable. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership, successfully supporting aggressive business growth, pioneering the establishment of Enterprise Solution, and transforming an emerging insurance entity into a respected global health solutions provider,” the firm said in a news release.  “We are confident that Lena's expertise will significantly contribute to our continued growth and success.”

Tsia will report to CEO of Lockton Singapore Fred Boles and regional COO Phil Corrigan.
