International accountancy and advisory firm Moore Stephens Consulting will be launching RuleBook, its rating, underwriting, and distribution platform, in the Asian market, by way of the East Asian Insurance Congress, which will be held from October 11-14 in Macau.

RuleBook is trusted by many leading insurers and brokers. It combines a sophisticated “rules engine” and underwriting capability to handle even the most complex specialty insurance lines.

In order to help with RuleBook’s launch in Asia, Moore Stephens has partnered with NTT DATA UK, a leading IT services provider and innovation partner headquartered in Japan. This will extend Moore Stephens’ reach further, allowing it to implement more programs and serve more clients.

NTT DATA UK will work with Moore Stephens to configure and test RuleBook, as well as provide support services, to help it become a global platform that brings together underwriters and brokers.

Paul Latarche, partner and head of insurance at Moore Stephens commented: “We have undergone a significant period of growth with RuleBook, embraced by 15 of the leading players in the market. The partnership with NTT DATA was the natural next step. It gives us the bandwidth to support clients globally, utilizing the technical expertise and global reach of one of Japan’s leading technology companies.”

Steve Mitchener, CEO of NTT DATA UK, added: “This is a tremendous opportunity for us to deliver real innovation and value. The strength of the partnership is based on a combination of strong cultural alignment, a commitment to high quality work, Moore Stephens Consulting’s London Market expertise underpinned by NTT DATA’s Centers of Excellence and scalable onshore/offshore service model.”
