Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) has added Neil Raymond, founder and CEO of Pacific Prime Insurance Brokers, as a board member.

In a statement, WBN said the move leverages Pacific Prime’s expertise in the Asia-Pacific and the Middle Eastern insurance industries, as well as its 20 years’ experience providing cross-jurisdictional brokerage services to international clients.

Founded in 1999, Pacific Prime has grown to serve over 4,000 corporate clients from 175 countries worldwide. The brokerage currently has nine regional offices, many of which are situated in Asia’s central business hubs, such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Bangkok.

“Neil Raymond is a dynamic leader who will be a valuable addition to our board as we focus on expansion and growth in the Asia-Pacific region, and on our continuing mission to strengthen the board with employee benefits market specialisation,” said Jim Watt, chairman of the WBN board of directors.

Furthermore, Pacific Prime said that with a closer partnership with the WBN, it will be able to expand its employee benefits business by extending its reach towards a wider client base globally.

WBN is composed of global insurance brokers with local knowledge and experience in over 100 countries. Through its network’s collaborations, WBN works to provide cross-border solutions, such as property & casualty insurance and employee benefits consulting, to its clients, the statement said.
