The CEO of Peak Reinsurance Company (Peak Re), Franz Joseph Hahn, has become a member of The Geneva Association, an international think tank for insurance and risk management issues.

The association was founded in 1973 with a mission to develop and promote wider understanding about the important role of insurance in economies and within societies. To achieve this, it organises publications and conferences, as well as engages in active discourse with policymakers, regulators, and other key constituents. Its membership is made up of leaders of top re/insurance companies around the world.

“I’m excited about supporting The Geneva Association as a member. Its distinct mission resonates well with Peak Re’s commitment to narrowing protection gaps, especially in the developing and emerging markets of Asia,” said Hahn.

“I look forward to offering my perspective derived from my 30 years in the region and leading one of the fastest growing global reinsurance firms. The Geneva Association is an ideal platform to raise awareness among insurance leaders and key political decision-makers from around the world as well as to combine research with impact, for the benefit of the underserved and unserved segments of the population.”
