Reinsurance broker hires chief executive for Hong Kong

New hire to preside over the company’s plans to expand in mainland China

TigerRisk Partners, an international reinsurance broker and capital advisory firm, has appointed Xuejun Wang as chief executive officer of its Hong Kong business. The appointment will be effective in early December 2016.
 
Wang will be responsible for building TigerRisk’s presence as it expands in mainland China. Previously, he was executive director of Willis Re’s Beijing office. He started his career in insurance at PICC, the largest property and casualty insurer in China. He spent 15 years there, eventually becoming a senior manager in the reinsurance division.

Wang obtained his bachelor’s degree at the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and his MBA from the University of Iowa.
