Rakesh Tiwari, SSP India head of operations, receives the award

SSP, an international provider of technology systems for the general insurance industry, has received the ‘outstanding case study’ award from India’s National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM).

Rakesh Tiwari, SSP India’s head of operations, presented about the company in the organization excellence category at the NASSCOM GCC Awards event, and received the outstanding case study award, a statement from SSP said. The other companies shortlisted in the category included Hays, KPMG, Mercer, Nokia, and Dell.

“In an India economic area flooded with big brands and thousand-person offshore captive centres, you would imagine that the companies with the big bucks would always scoop up the awards,” said Jim Sadler, SSP’s chief operating officer. “This award for SSP’s Global Services Centre is a testament to the whole SSP strategy – sometimes being smaller, quicker, more nimble, more agile, more innovative helps us win – before anyone has realised what we’re doing, we’re ahead!”

NASSCOM is the trade association of the Indian information technology and business process outsourcing industry. The association provides its members the opportunity to network, build and share best practices, gain insights on industry trends, and leverage growth opportunities.
