Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore (TMLS) recently marked its 75th anniversary year by continuing its tradition of giving back to the community through the “Caring From Top To Toe” initiative.

For the second consecutive year, this corporate social responsibility effort was conducted at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), focusing on acknowledging and supporting healthcare workers.

From Dec. 11-13, TMLS set up mobile massage stations at SGH to offer complimentary 20-minute head, shoulder, or foot massages to nearly 300 healthcare staff. This gesture aimed to provide relaxation and appreciation for the hospital staff's relentless dedication and hard work.

A distinctive feature of the “Caring From Top To Toe” program is the involvement of qualified, visually handicapped masseurs from a mobile massage team. Their participation not only brings a unique touch of care and skill to the initiative but also aligns with TMLS's commitment to supporting the independence and resilience of individuals with disabilities, the company said.

“TMLS is honoured to once more express our appreciation for healthcare workers, who continue to dedicate their lives to attending to patients and supporting patients’ families with compassion. We are also grateful for the passion and diligence of the visually handicapped masseurs from the mobile massage team. It gives us great delight to again champion their independence and resilience,” TMLS CEO Christopher Teo said.
