Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Europe (ANDIE) has relocated its office to Leadenhall Street in London. The new office will serve as the headquarters of the insurer’s European operations.

The office is located on the seventh floor of the Hallmark Building and houses ANDIE’s entire portfolio of brands under one roof for the first time. The move comes after ANDIE’s announcement of its impending acquisition of UK-based telematics motor insurer insurethebox, which has over 3.5 million miles of data gathered.

ANDIE’s new office also houses Toyota Insurance Management, a joint venture with Toyota Financial Services (UK) that seeks to develop insurance catering to vehicles made by Toyota, as well as reduce the cost of owning such vehicles. Other brands include Lexus Insurance Management; autosan, which provides insurance services via non-Toyota/Lexus dealerships; and Motor Ichiban, a specialist Japanese brand which ANDIE acquired on January 01, 2018, that provides motor insurance for Japanese expats working in the UK as a full Japanese language service.

ANDIE currently has offices in six insurance markets in Europe – the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, and Belgium – and provides a variety of retail and motor insurance products. It has a close relationship with major automaker Toyota and has made significant investments in driving data and connected car technology, which will help it develop tech-focused insurance products.
