Xavier Florit (pictured) now has a wider remit at Chubb.

Based in Paris, the AXA Partners alumnus who came onboard Chubb in December 2016 will now serve as regional head of corporate, accident & health (A&H) for Continental Europe. Previously he was A&H country manager for France.

Replacing Arjen van Dun, who has left the insurer, Florit will have overall responsibility for the leadership, strategy, and execution of Chubb’s corporate A&H division in the region. He took on the post last month but will start reporting to incoming A&H director for Continental Europe Florian Eisele come March.

Eisele, who will be based in Zürich, is currently Chubb’s country president for Switzerland. He commented: “I am delighted that we have appointed Xavier to this important role. His knowledge, insights, and understanding will help shape our A&H business across Continental Europe as we continue to drive growth.”
