Global insurer Chubb has announces several management changes for its life and general insurance operations in several markets across the globe. All appointments will be effective on December 1, 2017.

Cunqiang Li has been appointed chief operating officer of Chubb Life, the company's international life insurance division. He is currently the chairman and CEO of Huatai Life, a China-based joint venture between Huatai Insurance Group and Chubb. Based in Hong Kong, Li will oversee the day-to-day functions of Chubb Life's Asian life insurance businesses, as well as continuing to provide guidance to Huatai Life. He will report to Russell Bundschuh, senior vice president of Chubb Group and president of Chubb Life.

Meanwhile, Brad Bennett was named regional president of Chubb’s Far East operations in Japan. Currently senior vice president, Chubb Group and president, combined insurance, Bennett will be tasked to supervise the management and business results for all general insurance operations in Japan, including property and casualty, accident and health, and personal lines. He will be based in Tokyo and will report to Juan Andrade, executive vice president of Chubb Group and president of overseas general insurance.

Several appointments outside of Asia were also announced. In Chicago, Kevin Goulding was appointed president of combined insurance, while Chris Martin was named chief operating officer of combined insurance. In San Ramon, California, Jeff Hager was appointed regional chief operating officer of the United States’ Pacific region.
