Specialist valuation and appraisal practice John Foord has appointed Andrew Slevin as global chief executive, based in Singapore.

In a newly created role, Slevin is in charge of the firm’s business across all markets, including the valuation of fixed assets for insurance, accounting, transactions and financing. He reports to the Singapore-based company’s board of directors, working closely with the John Foord country and department heads to improve services to clients.

Before relocating to Singapore, Slevin was based in the UK, where he founded and led a specialist operational improvement consultancy. Prior to that, he worked in the Hong Kong and China markets, holding senior positions at CBRE, Knight Frank, and Chesterton. With 30 years’ industry experience, he is a chartered valuation surveyor and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors.

Aside from Slevin, John Foord has appointed Graham Copland as executive director for business development and Greg Dickerson as executive director for valuations.
