Two senior hires have joined the natural resources team of global loss adjuster McLarens in London.

Making the shift from Charles Taylor is Miles Wakefield (pictured above), who will serve as head of renewables, while AqualisBraemar alumnus Mark Macdonald (pictured below) is named head of upstream. They will report to London natural resources manager Joe Lampshire.

Wakefield brings over two decades of offshore construction experience to the table. Macdonald, meanwhile, started his loss adjusting career in 2009 and has an extensive oil & gas drilling operations background to his name.

“By bringing in highly specialist, technical adjusters who understand the intricacies and nuances of their respective sectors, we are continuing to expand our natural resources capability across the globe and establishing McLarens as a global leader within this field,” explained London markets & global head of specialty director David Pigot.

“We’re delighted to have Miles and Mark on board, and I look forward to working with them both.”
