Willis Towers Watson has announced the appointment of Fabien Conderanne as deputy head of financial solutions, further increasing its financial services capabilities in the region.

Conderanne’s appointment was effective from August 1. He is based in Singapore and reports to Stuart Ashworth, the firm’s managing director for financial solutions in Asia-Pacific.

“In the current complex and volatile economic landscape, Asia continues to offer significant growth opportunities for the application of credit and political risk insurance solutions for financial institutions and corporate and trader clients. Fabien will be a great asset to our global financial solutions team in supporting our business’ regional expansion,” Ashworth said.

Before joining Willis Towers Watson, Conderanne was with Coface, where he was regional chief financial officer of its Asia-Pacific operations before being appointed chief executive officer for Singapore. He brings 16 years of financial and regional experience, specialising in trade credit insurance. He began his career in France before relocating to Singapore in 2009.

Conderanne graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon, in France, and with an MSc in management from the HEC Paris Business School.
