Willis Towers Watson makes senior appointments for APAC insurance consulting business

Willis Towers Watson has appointed Ken Brown as leader of its insurance consulting and technology (ICT) business in Asia-Pacific, while Oi San Choo will succeed him as divisional leader for ICT, South Asia and emerging markets.

Both Brown and Choo are based in Singapore.

Brown joined Willis Towers Watson in 2016 and has over 30 years’ insurance industry and leadership experience with companies such as Aon Re, ACE Insurance and EY. With ACE, Brown was chief operating officer for Australia and New Zealand, CEO for Singapore and chairman for New Zealand. He oversaw the P&C, life and A&H business sectors and was actively involved in mergers and acquisitions across the region.

Meanwhile, Choo joined the company in 2008, and previously led its Southeast Asia ICT operations. With over two decades’ experience in insurance, she served as president of the Singapore Actuarial Society from 2014 to 2016, and was appointed by Singapore’s Ministry of Health to the ElderShield Review Committee.
