Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has made two appointments in Asia – David Hill as regional director of risk and analytics for Southeast Asia in the corporate risk & broking business and Eva Liu as head of health & benefits, Hong Kong.

According to a statement from WTW, Hill will lead the company’s risk advisory services to corporations together with a team of actuaries, analysts, engineers, forensic accountants, strategic risk consultants, captive and alternative risk transfer specialists. He will be based in Singapore and will work alongside with Kevin Snowdon, regional director of risk and analytics, Asia.

Hill has 30 years’ experience in risk management and has held senior global in-house roles as head of risk and insurance in the marine and FMCG sectors with AET and Cadbury. He also has extensive risk management consulting experience in Asia and Europe in past roles with AIG, Aon and FM Global advising on insurable and governance risk management, the statement said. 

Meanwhile, Liu will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Royston Tan, head of health & benefits for North Asia (excluding China).

Prior to this appointment, Liu was head of client servicing and delivery in the Hong Kong health & benefits team, a role she has held since she joined the firm in 2018. Prior to WTW, she had held business development, account management and consulting positions locally and regionally, including a five-year stint with Mercer.  

Apart from leading local and regional broking advisory, Liu has also led diverse benefits projects including benefits harmonisation and local rollout, flex consultancy and benefits review, the statement said.
