Swiss Re has appointed Monami Mukherjee (pictured above) as head of property and casualty analytics for the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Singapore, Mukherjee has 17 years of experience in P&C insurance, actuarial and strategy operations across the UK, US and Southeast Asian markets.

"Monami's wealth of experience adds to our strong capabilities in P&C analytics,” said Daniel Knüsli, head of P&C analytics at Swiss Re. “I'm very excited to see Monami and her team engaging with our clients in Asia and establishing new collaborations and partnerships leveraging our strong P&C analytics offering. Monami is an accomplished leader with a strong actuarial background, having focused on strategy and operation transformation, loss valuation, capital modelling, price optimisation, data analytics, M&A due diligence and regulatory reporting.”

Mukherjee joined Swiss Re from Synpulse Management Consulting, where she headed its Asia-Pacific insurance practice. She also previously worked at Deloitte, Zurich Insurance and Aviva.
