RSA Canada has announced it is now offering its SME P&C customers access to expert legal information and practical guidance.

The service will allow customers to tap into the “vast experience and expertise” of trusted, third-party attorneys in a wide range of legal issues related to SMEs.

“We are very pleased to offer this new value-added service to our SME policyholders,” said RSA SME Canada interim vice-president, Glen Bates. “As a small business owner, legal matters may seem intimidating or complex. Our legal assistance service offers your customers the opportunity to call a professional free of charge, to answer their questions on legal issues.”

Customers will be able to call the legal team without limits, and all exchanges will be kept strictly confidential. Through the service, customers can get legal information on issues such as rental agreements, contracts, statutory matters, and real estate and consumer law.

“We encourage you to discuss the benefits of RSA’s legal assistance service with your SME customers,” added Bates. “We’ve been working hard to support you and your customers by evolving our SME value proposition and we will continue our ongoing efforts to better serve your needs.”
