Markerstudy is looking to hire 70 apprentices this year as part of the insurance provider’s expanded apprenticeship programmes.

Apprenticeship programme manager Ewan Freeman said in an emailed release: “Each year, our group apprenticeship programmes go from strength to strength. Demand for apprenticeships is increasing, and we expect to recruit 70 apprentices this year.

“Already in 2024, the apprenticeship team is working closely with new business areas and supporting existing colleagues to upskill and develop their careers, and we have vacancies in the pipeline for apprenticeship start dates in March and September.”

In 2023, the company took on 53 apprentices. According to Markerstudy, it has helped more than 200 apprentices since 2016.

Last September, the business held a special apprenticeship graduation ceremony in Tunbridge Wells following postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event featured graduates (pictured) of apprenticeship schemes from 2019 to 2023.
