AqualisBraemar has appointed Dirk Jol (pictured) to head its adjusting division in the Middle East and India.

According to a statement by the offshore, marine, and loss adjusting consultancy, Jol has been with the company since 2015, and has held senior roles at the company’s Dubai and Singapore offices. Prior to joining AqualisBraemar, he worked for six years for McDermott International in Singapore, followed by a couple of years at Tidewater Marine. Jol holds a degree in civil engineering from Purdue University, USA.

In December 2019, AqualisBraemar launched an international recruitment drive to expand its adjustment business, which serves all aspects of the oil, gas, power, and marine sectors. According to the company, it is looking to fill several positions in London and Singapore, as well as increase the size of its current teams in the USA, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates.

AqualisBraemar’s adjusting service specialises in the investigation and resolution of insurance claims and commercial disputes within the energy (offshore and onshore), power, and marine industries. Key services include loss adjusting, expert witness, dispute resolution and risk assessment.
