Trade credit insurer Atradius has announced a new hire for its Asian business following strong results in the region.

Oliver Ford will join the business as regional sales manager Asia and will be based in Hong Kong.
Ford joins the Asian operations of the global insurer having worked for the business in London in a number of roles since joining the firm in 2007.

Formerly, Ford led business development for Atradius Global in the United Kingdom, and will begin in Hong Kong on June 01, reporting to Eric den Boogert, managing director for Atradius in Asia.

“Oliver has been the face of global sales in the London market for the last five years and has greatly enhanced the professionalism of our sales process,” den Boogert said.

Following the launch of an office in South Korea, Atradius now operates in 14 cities in Asia Pacific as revenue for the international firm grew 5.6% last year.
