Cunningham Lindsey Philippines rebrands as TCS

The independent claims specialist formerly known as Cunningham Lindsey Philippines has rebranded as Total Claim Specialists (TCS), which will function as a stand-alone company. The move follows Cunningham Lindsey’s acquisition by Sedgwick in 2018.

As part of the transition to a new corporate identity, TCS will be led by Nick Higson (pictured right) as country head, while Valentino G. Aboy (pictured left) will continue as its president, the company said in a statement.

Higson was previously the regional leader of the major and complex loss team for Cunningham Lindsey, in charge of nine markets. Higson joined the Philippine entity, now known as TCS, in June 2018. He has significant experience leading large loss teams throughout Asia-Pacific, working on several high-profile insurance events in recent years.

“For insurance claims services to work in the Philippines, local regulations strictly require international insurers, reinsurers, and loss adjusters to partner with a Philippine-based company for legal compliance,” said Higson. “We have extensive knowledge, not only in the Philippines, but also in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and throughout Asia. We have vast direct experience in handling some of the most significant insurance events in Asia and providing individual solutions for our clients following those events.

“For over 25 years, TCS was the sole preferred agent of a single global client. Now, we are pleased and able to offer our services to all interested clients, not just one. We have rebranded as an independent, stand-alone business, to provide a more direct and solution-focused service. We look forward to working closely with all our partners both in the Philippines and overseas.”
