Trust Re has announced a new general manager for its Labuan licensed branch office.
Singapore-native Kevin Quek has been appointed to the role and will manage all activities of the growing branch.
Quek has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry, having begun his career in underwriting with
Munich Re in 1992.
Prior to joining Trust Re, Quek spent eight years as head of Asia Pacific specialty at Endurance having also spent time with
XL Catlin as a senior underwriter.
Kamal Tabaja, group chief operating officer at Trust Re, said that the appointment adds further strength to an important office for the business.
“With his extensive experience in the Asian markets, we are confident that he will bring further added value by leading our dynamic operation and team as we seek further penetration of our brand in Asia,” Tabaja said.
