Major MGA Totten Group Insurance announced last week that it has appointed a new associate underwriter for its Commercial and Specialty Lines.
Marnai Cimolai was tapped to fill in the role for Totten Pacific, working from the company’s Vancouver location. She will be involved in Package Professional Lines, SME P&C, and Specialty Personal Lines.

Cimolai was previously a licensed insurance agent with The Co-operators. She is an active participant in Vancouver’s insurance community, volunteering at local insurance events organized by entities such as the BCRIMA (BC Risk & Insurance Management Association), a release said.
She is a graduate of UBC, having received a degree in Political Science prior to her career in insurance. Cimolai has held positions in Elections Canada and the Department of Foreign Affairs, specifically the Embassy of Canada in Washington.
