ArgoGlobal has appointed seasoned legal and insurance professional Zahida Rasool as specialty wordings manager, the Lloyd’s insurer recently announced.

Rasool takes up her role immediately, reporting to casualty wordings manager Stewart Muirhead.

“In an increasingly competitive market, ArgoGlobal has differentiated itself by providing a product suite underpinned with precise wordings and specialist underwriting skill,” Muirhead said.

“Zahida’s extensive wording and technical knowledge, gained from experience both in the insurance industry and as a solicitor, will enhance this further. I am confident that clients will quickly see the benefit which Zahida’s expertise will bring to our specialist proposition.” he added.

Bringing nearly 20 years of legal and insurance experience to ArgoGlobal, Rasool joins from Triton Global Limited where she served as senior claims handler.

In her recent role, Rasool was tasked with processing UK and US professional negligence claims. She also previously served as a claims assessor and solicitor at Aon UK Limited.

Rasool also worked as a solicitor in London for 13 years, focusing primarily on insurance litigation actions.
