Bluefin Underwriting has set its sights on expansion in a new region after the appointment of a broker development manager.
Ian Chapman will take the reins for the Yorkshire and North East of England region having made the switch from One Commercial. Chapman is a local CII president and boasts significant underwriting and sales experience in the MGA sector that Paul Drake, head of Bluefin Underwriting, believes will help fill a noticeable gap in the firm’s national coverage.
“Ian’s appointment is a fantastic opportunity for us to achieve our ambitious targets for 2017 and beyond,” Drake explained.

“We are growing at an excellent rate and this expansion into new territories will allow us to continue doing so. There is great demand for our specialist products and we hope we can reach more and more brokers across the country.”
Meanwhile, Chapman expressed his enthusiasm at joining the firm.
