International trade credit insurer Euler Hermes has appointed a new CEO for UK and Ireland following the resignation of Valerio Perinelli.
 
The company said Perinelli has quit his post for personal reasons. He will be succeeded by Milo Bogaerts, who will take over Euler Hermes UK and Ireland on April 01.
 
Based in London, Bogaerts will report to Fabrice Desnos, head of region for Northern Europe. He takes up a new role at Euler Hermes after recently serving as the company’s Netherlands CEO and regional director for market management, commercial and distribution for Northern Europe.

Bogaerts first joined Euler Hermes in 1997 and held several roles in the Netherlands. He later moved to Interpolis Kredietverzekeringen, a joint venture between Euler Hermes and Achmea, where he was appointed to various management positions.
 
In 2015, Bogaerts was elected chairman of the Interpolis supervisory board. Currently, he is also a member of the supervisory board of Euler Hermes Poland.
