The acquired has definitely become the acquirer in the case of Finch Group. Having itself been snapped up by
Broker Network in November last year, it has now announced its fifth acquisition in less than 12 months.
Earlier today the Reading-based company announced a deal for Hampshire-based brokerage Miller & Co Insurance Brokers Ltd.
The independent brokerage was established back in 1966 and focuses on commercial lines. Its base is in Hambledon, near Southampton, and it boasts £3 million in GWP with a staff of 10 who will remain with the business.
“The acquisition of Miller & Co marks our fifth purchase this year,” said Vincent Gardner, Finch Group’s managing director. “We are continuing to follow our strategy of working with quality, independent brokers who have strong reputations within their local communities. Steve Miller and the team have built a fantastic business which fits our ambitions perfectly.
