iprism, a managing general agent (MGA) specialising in construction, property, commercial, and high net worth sectors, has announced the appointment of Adrian Saunders (pictured above) to the role of non-executive director.

Saunders joins the firm with an extensive background, having accrued over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, including a recent stint as commercial director at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.

His career has also seen him occupy various senior positions at notable companies such as Marsh, Zurich Financial Services, and Hiscox.

Ian Lloyd, CEO of iprism, expressed his enthusiasm for Saunders' joining the board.

“We’re delighted to have Adrian join our board as a Non-Exec,” Lloyd said. “His extensive industry knowledge and credibility will undoubtedly enhance our position in the market. His invaluable industry experience and regulatory insights are a bonus. His track record in business development aligns perfectly with our growth ambitions, making him a great asset to our team.”

“I’ve known the iprism leadership team for some time now, I believe in them and the company’s vision, and am eager to leverage my experience to contribute to its continued success. I look forward to working with their talented team as they sharpen their strategic focus on growth and building their position in the market,” Saunders said.

Saunders' addition to the iprism board is anticipated to strengthen the MGA's strategic direction, focusing on growth and enhancing its market presence.

Last month, the specialist MGA also announced a partnership with the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) to deliver a high-value home insurance scheme for BIBA members.

This new scheme is designed to meet the needs of high-net-worth clients, with cover provided by iprism and described as “one of the more comprehensive” policies available.
