Moore Stephens announces RuleBook partnership

Moore Stephens announces RuleBook partnership Insurance and public sector consulting firm Moore Stephens Consulting has set its sights on geographical expansion beyond the London market after announcing a major agreement.

The firm has secured a deal with NTT Data UK to provide a comprehensive international service set to underwriters and brokers in the London and global insurance markets. NTT DATA is a leading IT services provider and global innovation partner headquartered in Tokyo, with business operations in over 40 countries. The idea is that the partnership will enable Moore Stephens Consulting to implement, roll out geographically and support clients on a global basis.

As part of its initial work, NTT DATA UK will partner with Moore Stephens Consulting to provide RuleBook configuration and testing and deliver cloud monitoring and support services to a number of clients, underpinning RuleBook’s growth as a global platform linking underwriters and brokers.

However, the company has also announced it will use the East Asian Insurance Congress to be held from October 11-14 in Macau to formally launch RuleBook, a rating, underwriting and distribution platform, into the Asian markets.

Speaking about the partnership, Paul Latarche, head of insurance at Moore Stephens outlined that the deal was the “next natural step”.

“We have undergone a significant period of growth with RuleBook, embraced by 15 of the leading players in the market,” he said. “It gives us the bandwidth to support clients globally, utilising the technical expertise and global reach of one of Japan’s leading technology companies.”

He added: “We are delighted to announce that the RuleBook system will be available to underwriters and brokers across the Asian markets. Its success in the London market in enhancing the ability for the placement of complex specialty global risks, and driving more efficient communication between underwriters and their brokers have established the system as significant step forward in bringing the insurance process into the 21st century.”
