EZLynx has entered into an agreement with Citizens Property Insurance Corporation to utilize the EZLynx Rating Engine across its network of over 7,000 Florida insurance agents.

The technology aims to streamline the process of eligibility determination against the private market at both the point of sale and renewal phases, enabling agents to more efficiently assess coverage options from Citizens and other carriers in the state. It supports insurance agents in delivering customer service and exploring cross-selling opportunities. Meanwhile, it allows agents in Florida to input applicant data just once, after which it provides real-time home and dwelling fire quotes from multiple carriers within seconds.

Furthermore, Applied Systems – EZLynx’s parent firm – will offer Florida agents the opportunity to enhance their capabilities by upgrading to a full EZLynx account, which includes options to comparatively rate auto policies or to leverage a complete agency management system.

Jeremy Pope, chief administrative officer at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, explained the strategy behind the partnership.

“In compliance with Florida Statutes, Citizens operates a clearinghouse program designed to help find private-market insurance company offers before applying for or renewing a property insurance policy with Citizens. This solution will deliver a new, simple quoting experience to our agents, making eligibility determination with Citizens easier than ever,” Pope said.

Michael Streit, general manager at EZLynx, also commented on the partnership’s broader implications.

“EZLynx has revolutionized comparative rating for more than 20 years with our easy-to-use, modern quoting experience and the broadest panel of carriers in the industry,” Streit said. “This partnership will deliver access to more carriers that offer home and dwelling fire policies to agents in Florida and beyond, enabling them to provide the best coverage for their customers and grow their book of business.”
