Global loss adjuster McLarens has announced the hiring of Stephen Toomer as managing director of McLarens Korea, effective immediately. Based in Seoul, Toomer will lead the 10-person team in Korea.

According to a statement by McLarens, Toomer is an established international executive loss adjuster. He joined from an international competitor where he served as country manager in Colombia and deputy regional director for Latin America. He has over 18 years’ experience as an international loss adjuster and risk surveyor with a solid technical background working for insurance and reinsurance markets worldwide. His specialities include engineering, oil and gas, power generation as well as CAR/EAR, BI and liabilities. He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, holder of the NEBOSH certificate of Health and Safety, and is part CILA and IRM qualified.
