Malaysia-based Tune Protect Group (TPG) has appointed Khoo Ai Lin as CEO, effective January 15. She succeeded Razman Abu Hafidz, who has transitioned into an advisory role for the company.

Khoo joined TPG in 2017 as CEO of Tune Protect Malaysia. She will continue holding the chief executive position in Malaysia while heading the group.

As group CEO, Khoo will focus on achieving the firm’s digital agenda by growing its international businesses and working closely with AirAsia and other members of the Tune Group.

“I look forward to working closely with the group’s management team to accelerate expansion of international business while continuing to strengthen the group’s strategic pillars such as being a leader in product innovation, expanding distribution channels and delivering exceptional customer experience,” Khoo said regarding her appointment.

Prior to joining TPG, Khoo was chief marketing officer of Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd from 2015 to 2017. With over 20 years’ experience in financial services, she has also worked in several major insurers in Malaysia, such as Hong Leong Assurance and AIG, holding roles in partnerships, distribution, bancassurance, and business development in both the life and general insurance segments.
