Zurich Malaysia has relocated its head office to KL Eco City (KLEC), a mixed-use environment-focused urban development in Kuala Lumpur.
As a result of the move, all of Zurich Malaysia’s entities are now housed under one roof, a statement from the insurer said. These entities are: Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad, Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad, Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad, Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad, Zurich Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and Zurich Shared Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
The new head office occupies the top eight floors of the Mercu 3 building, with a total floor area of 10,400 square metres. Each floor is equipped with smart motion sensors in its lighting and air conditioning systems, allowing the company to increase cost savings through efficient energy management.
According to Zurich, transferring its Malaysia head office signifies its ongoing ambitions to have more dynamic and eco-friendly workspaces that promote transit connectivity and sustainability for its employees and stakeholders. The modern setting also aims to encourage employees to collaborate better with each other and come up with more innovative ideas.
