Robert Schimek, CEO of bolttech, speaks about how the technology-enabled platform unlocks access to more insurance and protection capabilities. The company’s “click to protect” proprietary technology helps its business partners provide insurance for customers’ gadgets even after the original purchase date. Schimek says that bolttech’s involvement in more than 700 ecosystem partnerships is in response to the need for new tech-type capabilities in the insurance market worldwide and in line with the concept of the sharing economy.
