The Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) has launched a campaign aimed at educating consumers about their auto insurance policies.

Entitled “Time to Talk: Auto Insurance,” the educational tour’s first stop was in Hamilton, where it featured interactive displays and on-site advice.

“Auto insurance is mandatory for all drivers in Ontario. That is why it is important for everyone to understand their policies, to know what is covered, and to know the issues that could affect their rates,” said IBC Ontario vice-president Kim Donaldson. “The Time to Talk: Auto Insurance tour will give Ontarians the opportunity to learn more about their policies and what they can do to best manage their premiums.”

“Throughout the summer, the Time to Talk: Auto Insurance tour will make its way across communities in Ontario, visiting malls and festivals to reach consumers from all walks of life,” Donaldson added. “Consumers can visit IBC.ca for the latest information on tour dates and locations as it becomes available.”

IBC’s campaign in Hamilton’s CF Lime Ridge shopping center ran from May 19 to May 21.
