FM Global is making several changes to its regional leadership, it has announced, in preparation for the forthcoming retirement of Stefano Tranquillo, the company’s senior vice president, division manager EMEA/Asia Pacific.

Tranquillo, according to a statement by the insurer, has been with FM Global for almost 35 years.

Philip Johnson was appointed senior vice president, EMEA division manager, and will be based in the company’s Luxembourg office. Most recently, he served as the operations senior vice president, London operations manager. Since joining the company in 1995, Johnson has held various positions in the UK, including working and managing in engineering and client service roles, as well as being a consultant for the company’s business process improvement team.

Ziad Alex S. Tadmoury was named senior vice president, Asia-Pacific division manager, based in Singapore. Previously, he served as operations senior vice president, manager, compliance and real estate at FM Global’s corporate offices in Rhode Island, USA. Tadmoury started with the company 29 years ago working in claims and reinsurance. He went on to hold numerous other roles including operations senior vice president and Paris operations manager.

Meanwhile, David M. Johnson has been appointed operations senior vice president and operations manager in Atlanta, USA. He will relocate from Singapore, where he served as FM Global’s regional senior vice president, regional manager operations, Asia. Since joining the company in 1990 as a loss prevention consultant, he has held various posts in Sweden and the United States, including serving clients in the forest products industry.
