More South Australians will have the chance to experience the Adelaide Fringe this year, thanks to a new partnership between the festival and NRMA Insurance.

As the festival’s Presenting Partner, NRMA Insurance will match donations made through ticket checkouts and the Pay It Forward program.

According to NRMA Insurance chief customer and marketing officer Michelle Klein, one in two South Australians already attend Adelaide Fringe every year. The aim of the initiative is to expand the reach of the arts festival by breaking down financial and social barriers, making sure that disadvantaged communities can join in the celebration.

“NRMA Insurance has been helping Australians protect what matters for almost 100 years, and through this partnership, we are proud to be supporting South Australia’s thriving arts sector and helping remove barriers to participation,” Klein said.

This partnership complements NRMA Insurance’s ongoing work in South Australia, including its collaboration with the South Australian State Emergency Service (SA SES) to prepare residents for natural disasters.

As part of the deal, NRMA Insurance customers will also receive complimentary Fringe memberships, giving them access to two-for-one tickets, exclusive offers, early event access, and other benefits.

“We’re thrilled to have NRMA Insurance join us as a partner this year, supporting our community and helping us achieve our mission of becoming the most inclusive festival in the world. Adelaide Fringe is a celebration of creativity, diversity, and the incredible energy that comes from bringing people together through the arts,” Adelaide Fringe CEO Heather Croall said.
