NIBA's CEO lifts lid on new Code and Quality of Advice Review
One year ago, Phil Kewin stepped into his role as CEO of NIBA (National Insurance Brokers Association), the peak organization representing brokers. Since then, he’s helped bring in a new Insurance Brokers Code of Practice and just delivered a submission to the government’s Quality of Advice Review. In this edition of IB Talk Kewin discussed the transparency that’s vital to the new Code. He also detailed the ongoing struggle to educate the government about the role of brokers and how commissions guarantee brokers’ livelihoods and ensure the valuable advice they give is affordable.
