AIG announces private client group head
AIG has announced a new head for its private client group business.

David McMurdo will become Australasia head of the private client group, having spent over eight years with the international firm in various roles.

The reintroduced role comes as the insurer looks to continue the development of a key part of its personal insurance business.

McMurdo began his career as an insurance broker and spent six years working in London.

Upon his return to Australia in 2011, McMurdo joined AIG’s PCG unit as national development manager and took on additional responsibilities as the national partnership manager for Steadfast in 2014.
