Global brokerage Aon has forged a strategic alliance with Work Metrics, creator of OnlineInduction.com and IncidentReport.net, to help contractors with a new safety and job risk resource centre, which includes pathways to review and assess insurance cover.

The tie-up will provide contractors access to more resources for free assessment checks to help them identify any risk gaps, simplifying the process of acquiring the required insurance cover for their job activity.

“This alliance is a great opportunity to support organisations with our expertise, services, and bespoke products,” said Kevan Johnston, Aon’s managing director of commercial. “As the sole insurance provider on the Work Metrics resource centre, utilising Aon’s digital strategy, we are delighted to be part of a tool helping empower contractors with the information and pathways to double check they have the right and relevant insurance cover and safety documentation.”

“Our clients use our software to engage employees, contractors, and visitors, and is a gateway for managing various compliance checks that employers need before hiring new employees or engaging contractors on a project,” said Jeremy Nunn, founder and CEO at Work Metrics. “In coming together with Aon, we can now go further in helping organisations by providing a resource centre with access to industry insights and review.”
