Arteva Funding (Arteva), Australia's largest independent premium finance company, is ready to drive its key partnerships across the country with the help of its latest hire: Nichole Hastie, who will take on a newly created role of senior manager – key accounts.

Hastie brings over 20 years of insurance industry experience to Arteva, with the last seven years spent as a business development manager (BDM) in the premium funding segment. Previously, she held key account underwriting roles with major global insurer Chubb Insurance.

In the newly created role, commencing on February 28, Hastie will assist Arteva with driving national key partnerships in addition to being a dedicated relationship manager for its partners operating in the local Queensland market.

Commenting on her appointment, Hastie said: “I am extremely delighted to be joining Arteva Funding, and I am excited to assist our business partners with optimising their funding solutions.”

A result of merging Premium Funding and Principal Finance, Arteva provides more than 110,000 clients with an insurance premium funding solution each year using industry-leading technology backed by a team of experts. Most of the business is done through brokers offering commercial insurance to companies that could have seven to 10 insurance policies covering various risks within their business.

Arteva CEO Daniel Gronert said he expects the depth of Hastie's direct and market experience, along with her demonstrated ability and passion for supporting clients' needs and growth aspirations, to enhance the company's service and product offering to its partners.

“We couldn't be more pleased to welcome Nichole to the team,” he added.
