Over-50 insurance specialist Australian Seniors has opened its second bricks-and-mortar store in Lake Haven, New South Wales.

The new Australian Seniors retail store houses five local team members, including insurance specialists, a concierge, and a connect officer, offering the ability to receive quotes and buy insurance products in a relaxed environment, equipped with self-service booths, information hub stations, private consultation rooms, and free Wi-Fi. The store will also host free in-house workshops on a variety of topics throughout the year.

The store is located at Shop 118, Lake Haven Shopping centre, Lake Haven Drive and Goobarah Avenue, Lake Haven, NSW 2263.

“The opening of our second Australian Seniors retail store is paramount to ensuring we continue to speak to our customers in a way that best suits them,” said Sarah Richards, chief customer officer at Greenstone and Australian Seniors spokesperson. “Our research tells us our customers value face-to-face conversation and we’ve found that to be true with the success seen in our Castle Towers store in Sydney. We're proud to have reached this milestone and hope the Lake Haven community take advantage of all we have to offer.”

Alongside the store opening, Australian Seniors also launched “Supporting Seniors” Lake Haven, following the success in the Castle Hill community. “Supporting Seniors” is an initiative designed to provide a financial helping hand for local senior community groups.

Lake Munmorah 50+ Leisure & Learning Centres and Senior Centre and the Toukley Torch Bearers for Legacy will be the first to benefit from the funding program, with one group to receive a donation of $1,000 and the other $500. Voting is now open and can be completed in-store from now until Oct. 15. The next round will commence on Oct. 16 and continue on a quarterly basis.
