A Victoria-based broker with more than 30 years of history has become the latest member of a national broking group.

Aviso Group, along with insurance investment company Envest, welcomed Western Insurance Brokers, including directors Marc Montano and Michael Williamson, as its ninth member.

“When looking for a new partner to build the business, Envest provide us with the support we need to take the business to the next stage in our lifecycle,” Montano said. “We look forward to collaborating with a great group of likeminded brokers within the Aviso Group and who are aligned with our values and future goals.”

Greg Mullins, Envest managing director, said Western is a well-established business with a tremendous reputation in Country Victoria.

“Western has a clear plan to continue to grow a progressive and entrepreneurial business,” Mullins said. “It aligns with Envest’s strategy of building businesses that create value for customers, suppliers, and shareholders.”

This view is shared by Craig Robson, Aviso Group CEO, who said Western aligns with the Aviso culture and long-term strategies.

“Western fits geographically, has a fantastic reputation, and some niche products and schemes that will contribute to the broader group,” Robson said.

Aviso Group is made up of insurance brokers Aviso WA (Formerly IC Frith WA), Fitzpatrick & Co Insurance Brokers (VIC), Eagle Insurance Brokers (NSW), Acumen Insurance Brokers (NSW), MacMurray Insurance Brokers (TAS), Allsafe Insurance Brokers (QLD), Insurance Aid General Brokers (QLD), QSure Insurance Brokers (QLD), and now Western Insurance Brokers (VIC).
